This allows us to determine if other parts, like the laptop back cover, laptop hinges, or additional components, may have been affected and need replacement as well. During this assessment, we offer a free consultation to help identify whether your laptop screen is an LCD touch screen or a regular laptop screen, as well as other important details like whether the laptop LCD is attached to a frame differently than standard laptop screen models. This ensures we order the correct laptop screen replacement. Once we have all the necessary information, we’ll place the order for your specific laptop model, and typically receive it within 1 to 5 days. As soon as the laptop screen replacement arrives, we will replace the damaged laptop screen and perform thorough tests to ensure everything is working as it should.

Laptop Screen Replacement Warranty Details

Part Warranty
Duration: 28 days on replacement screens (unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer).
Warranty Source: Covered under the replacement part vendor’s policy.
Exclusions: Physical damage or liquid damage to the LCD display voids warranty.

Labor Warranty
Duration: 90 Days.
Coverage: Covers issues related to the LCD screen installation process.
Conditions: Does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or additional hardware failures.

Important Notes

Assessment Required: LCD Screen must be disassembled to identify correct part.
Multiple Laptop LCD Screen Variants: Some laptops have multiple compatible LCD screen types—correct part ordering depends on accurate internal info.
Additional Repairs: Damage to the laptop hinges, Broken LCD bezel, or damages to the laptop back cover will be noted and quoted separately.

Modern laptops screens use adhesive to bond the LCD screen to the frame. During the Laptop screen replacement, heat and special tools may be required to remove the LCD screen. There’s a chance the LCD screen may crack or become damaged due to its fragile construction. This is considered a known risk associated with servicing adhesive-bonded LCD displays, and any additional replacement cost will not be covered under warranty.

Laptop Screen Repair Details

  • We carefully disassemble the case and remove the screen and hinges, preserving the screws for later assembly
  • Ribbon cables that provide signal and the screen power cable are unclipped and inspected for wear and tear
  • The hinges are inspected and cleaned, as they are prone to collecting dust
  • The case edges are inspected and cleaned and any dust within the back of the case is blown out or wiped away
  • We confirm the replacement screen is compatible with the laptop then begin the installation process
  • The new screen is fitted with all the ribbon cables attached into their connectors
  • Original case screws are used and tighten to factory specifications
  • Once the laptop is reassembled, we power it on and perform a screen test, which checks for brightness and color rendition
